SOCCER BALLS FOR UKRAINE
Thanks to the generosity of club member Hans Schmoldt, dozens of soccer balls have been provided to children in Ukraine including this young girl recovering in a hospital room from war injuries.
DISTRICT GOVERNOR VISITS CLUB
Cathy Webster, District Governor for the nearly 80 clubs in NE Oklahoma, NW Arkansas and SW Missouri, spoke recently to the Bartlesville Rotary Club. She and Assistant District Governor Janie Green also met with the club board of directors.
MEMORIAL BRIDGE SPRUCE-UP
Several club members recently combined efforts to handle a spring cleanup of the Pathfinder Memorial Bridge Overlook. The club was the driving force in creating this path feature as well as in leading the complete restoration of the historic 1925 bridge.
ELDERCARE RECEIVES CLUB GRANT
Cordell Rumsey, Elder Care executive director, recently accepted a $300 grant from the club on behalf of Elder Care. Club secretary George Halkiades (right) presented the contribution.
CLUB SCHOLARSHIP PRESENTED
Through his essay “You Before Me,” Charlie Cutts recalled his experiences as an Eagle Scout and his involvement in advancing service as a volunteer in soup kitchens and through other service projects, Charlie’s essay focused on service that impacts day-to-day life. Charlie plans to attend OSU in the fall 2022 and hopes to become an aerospace/mechanical engineering.
