Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
NOTE: THE 2024 RYLA APPLICATION WILL BE POSTED LATER THIS YEAR. THE PROGRAM WILL BE ESSENTIALLY THE SAME AS IN 2023 WITH THE DAYBREAK AND NOON ROTARY CLUBS COVERING COSTS AND TRANSPORTATION.
is a leadership training program that enhances youth leaders’ leadership and communication skills while breaking them out of their comfort zones and encouraging service above self. RYLA gives students that confidence to spread their ideas of impact to their community and world while becoming life changers in the lives of those that they come in contact with.
Bartlesville’s Noon Rotary Club and Daybreak Rotary Club are sponsoring class leaders who are currently in their junior year of high school to attend RYLA camp at the Salvation Army Heart of the Hills facility located in Welling, Oklahoma. Camp costs and transportation will be provided by both Rotary Clubs.
RYLA is a wonderful experience where bright leaders will learn and grow in the areas of leadership, communication, diversity, service, selflessness, and ROTARY.
Camp Details
Starts: Thursday October 19, 2023 at 11:30 AM
Ends: Sunday October 22, 2023 at 12:30 PM
Where: Salvation Army Camp, Welling, OK
Cost: Covered by Bartlesville Noon Rotary & Daybreak Rotary Club
Transportation: Provided by Noon & Daybreak Rotarians
This includes all meals, snacks, lodging, program materials, leadership development through Heart of the Hills outstanding low and high ropes course, all the Rotary knowledge one could ask for, entertainment, and other activities/items.
